As of this morning, the South Branch of the Root River is still brown and flowing much higher than it has this summer. The smaller streams are starting to show some clearing and lowering as we begin to dry out.
Currently there is no rain in the forecast until Friday. The streams will continue to clear as the week goes on, with the Root being last to clear and drop. Trout are still being seen eating off the surface. Streamers are also a good choice for these types of conditions.
