STREAM CONDITIONS AND BLOG
I had a great guide trip this weekend which gave me the opportunity to once again help a client catch his first fish on a fly rod. Each and every time this happens, it gives me the opportunity to relive the thrill, excitement and adrenaline rush of the time I landed my first on the fly .... for this, I'm truly thankful! It is such a rewarding feeling that I will never tire of! The cooler temps halted the hatches for the most part but the trout were still eagerly feeding sub-surface with Orange Scuds, Pink Squirrels and BH Pheasant Tail nymphs being their prey of choice. The warmest part of the day, 11am - 2pm, was when we saw the most action. Be sure to stop in at the fly shop for all needed flies, gear and up to the minute "Intel" on the streams of the Minnesota Driftless! Brian Schumacher
