STREAM CONDITIONS AND BLOG
The new extended season opens today with rain a drizzle. Thanks to new regulations we now can legally fish for trout in October in Minnesota, Wow. Should be a great time to hunt the big ones. Streamers and big flies could land a trophy. Never before have we had this opportunity to get out and enjoy the great fall colors while pursuing trout in some of the best water in the country. I will be out this weekend and post a report because I can! All State Parks now open all year. Forestville, Beaver Creek and Whitewater parks open for catch and release all year!!! Yay, no more crimping or barbless hooks either. Let's go. Still booking guided trips for trout in Minnesota until Oct. 15, Iowa streams and small mouth bass on the fly. Lots of fun too be had still. The shop is open evenings and weekends. Check out the extensive new small mouth bass flies stocked up at the shop.
