STREAM CONDITIONS AND BLOG
Rains last week gave area streams a nice boost in water levels and they are running clear and are in very good shape. Daytime temps are still reaching to near 80 but cooler nights hint that Fall is right around the corner. This is an excellent time to fly fish the Driftless Area. Trout are actively feeding as they gear up to spawn, temps & humidity are on the decrease and the Fall colors are beginning to peak through! Tonight's outing was fast paced with aggressively feeding Browns hammering my black BH Woolley Bugger and when risers were observed, a small Parachute Adams was enough to seal the deal.
