South of I-90 is in great shape and Blue Winged Olives are getting stronger. Nymphing has been productive with Pheasant tails, Pink squirrels and Princes all working equally well. They are a little sluggish yet so slow it down, enjoy the walk and present it well and deep. You will be rewarded. Warmer part of the day look for risers and either parachute of classic BWO might do the trick. Some gray midges too. They are a little picky but ramping up day by day. Stop by the shop and get some advice from the folks who "Know Where They Live" at SE Minnesota's best and original fly shop in Minnesota's Trout Capitol, Preston, Mn.
